As predicted, I am feeling much, much better today. I woek up twice in the night tossing and turning from my fever, but then ended up sleeping peacefully until 10, when my host mom told me I should get up…aheh.. whoops. Then I ate breakfast (yesss, schokolade Muesli!!) ….then promptly went BACK TO BED for another two hours. I was feeling sick again, but had a marvelous nap. It was just what I needed. Since I’ve woken up…I’ve felt amazingly better. Still a little weak and low on energy, obvioiusly, but feeling immensely better.

Now I’m forcing myself to not sleep anymore, because I think the tiredness I feel now is just jetlag and not sick-tiredness. My head kind of hurts from this language immersion, though, and also jetlag. I feel like my English is suffering, haha. Can’t keep both languages straight. On the plus side, being sick has forced me to review vocabulary for being sick. Yay for real life application.

This afternoon my host mom took me to Graz-Mitte to show me where my classes will be held. The bus system doesn’t seem difficult to navigate at all, and I have several different ways I can go, if I want. Although Indy doesn’t really have public transportation, I guess I’ve traveled enough (hello Seattle) that I’m pretty comfortable navigating systems already. It’s obviously not quite the same, but I’m not worried about it.

I’m not sure what to expect from my classes tomorrow. I think I might watch some children’s shows on TV, because my host mom told me it’s the best way to learn 😉

okay that’s all for now. Sometime soon I plan to take photos of the beautiful view and houses around here!
