I’m intrigued by the work of infusing wonder and imagination into everyday life. I’m interested in telling stories, especially ones that explore beauty and love and adventures and life.

Sometimes I write about these things. Sometimes I just write about the great outdoors. Sometimes I share things I’m into.

In another life, I lived in Austria for a few years, which is how I got into skiing and all things outdoors. I speak German, although it’s getting rusty, and from time to time you might see it appear here.

Believe it or not, I actually have a lot of anxiety when it comes to doing things outdoors. “Sarah the Adventurer” came about as a way for me to change my own narrative, I suppose. I believe that you can be adventurous even if you’re not into extreme sports, and adventure is more about a mindset and spirit than what you actually do. Even going on a walk around your neighborhood can be an adventure. Since I got into outdoor sports later in life, I like to share in hopes that it encourages others, especially women, that they can be outdoor adventurers too. 😊

All things considered, I try not to take myself too seriously, and as a Gemini, I refuse to be put into one particular box. 😉
